Kelley
Coach Jacob Kelley is an experienced football coach and dedicated leader. Leading the CCHS football team for six successful years, he brings passion and commitment, resulting in remarkable achievements on the field. With a background as a player at JSU and Shorter University, Coach Kelley's coaching career is grounded in extensive experience and knowledge. He molds young athletes into strong players, imparting not just football skills but also essential life values such as teamwork, perseverance, and determination.
Outside of football, Coach Kelley draws strength from his family. Married to Dana and blessed with three wonderful children - Rett (11), Joey (9), and Woodrow (3). He is driven to excel both on and off the field. With 17 years of coaching experience, Coach Kelley's legacy continues to inspire players to reach their full potential. As he leads the CCHS Warrior football program, he shapes it into a force to be reckoned with, leaving a lasting impact on the team, sport, and community. Overall Record at Cherokee County is 58-19 with 3 State Title Appearances, 3 Class 4A North Championships, 3 Class 4A Region 6 Championships, and 5 straight Post Season Appearances.

Todd Wheeler
Coach Todd Wheeler played football with University of Georgia from 1985-1988. He was Freshman Player of the Year, Team Captain (1988), SEC Offensive Lineman of the year (1988) and All American (1988). After college he played for the New Orleans Saints for 3 years as a Center and Long Snapper. He has a B.S.Ed. from the University of Georgia, he also has a Masters and Ed S degree .
Coach Wheeler coached and taught in Floyd County, Ga. from 1992-2022. In 2014, he wa 7-AA Coach of the year. In 2021, Coach Wheeler was named Most Positive Coach in the State of Georgia. He has come out of retirement to join the Warrior Nation.
He is married to Pebbles Pace Wheeler. They have 2 daughters Sarah Elizabeth Wheeler 26 and Mary Katherine Wheeler 24.

Josh Decker
Coach Josh Decker is married to Kaitilyn and they have two boys, Ridge (5yrs) and Ripp (2 yr). He has been the running back coach at CCHS for 5 years. Coach Decker is also the Head Baseball Coach at Cherokee County. He previously worked with Glencoe High School for 2 years. He has an associate degree from Snead State and a Bachelors and Masters degree from JSU.

Caleb Hays
Coach Caleb Hays is married to Hope. They have 2 children,
River and Callie. He has coached outside line backers and H-back for 9 years at CCHS. He has a Bachelor and Masters degree from JSU. He is a CCHS alumni and played on the 2009 State Championship team. He was an inductee into the JSU Educational Hall of Fame in
2019. He also is the head basketball coach and the head golf coach at CCHS.

Sean Brown
Coach Brown begins his first season of Coaching at CCHS. Coach Brown Played TE at Jacksonville State University and the University of Tennessee. Coach Brown brings a wealth of knowledge to the TE room.

Shawn Turner
Coach Shawn Turner is married to Jerelyn. They have 4 children and 11 grandchildren. He has 25 years of coaching experience with 15 years at Shorter University. He is a graduate of Shorter University with a degree in History and Physical Science. He is the pastor of Faith in Christ Church, Ft. Payne, Al.

Garrett Young
Coach Garret Young has his Bachelors degree in Secondary Education and a Masters in Social studies from JSU in 2023.
This is his 3rd year to teach at CCHS. He coaches the D-line in
football, along with helping Wrestling. Garret and his Wife, Lauryn both live in Saks. They have 1 baby Girl and 2 fur babies.

Billy Turner
Coach Billy "Cadillac" Turner is the Linebacker Coach and his first year at CCHS. He has a fiancée, Kelsie Lee. He graduated in 2023 at JSU with a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Ed and Social Studies.
He has coached for 6 years at Randolph County and Gulf Shores
High School. His coaching
experience is with D Line, Special teams, Strength and Conditioning.

Britt Chandler
Coach Britt Chandler and wife Kay have three children, Kristan, Chris, Jake and two grandchildren, Carter and Wesley. Coach Britt Chandler is entering his 5th year at CCHS. He has a BS degree in mathematics from Shorter University, a Master in Education for JSU and a EDS degree from Lincoln Memorial University. He has entered his 30th year of coaching with 19 years at Pepperell High School. Coach Chandler is also the Assistant Principal at Centre Middle School and is the Defensive Coordinator for the Warriors.

Terry Stephens
Coach Terry Stephens is the Outside Linebacker CCHS. He is entering his 4th year with the Warriors as a coach and
his third as a teacher. He graduated from CCHS in 2017 and from JSU last year with a teaching degree. Terry was married last year in June to his high school sweetheart Megan and they are expecting their first child in January.

Devrin Starr
Coach Devrin Starr coach's the QB's/DB's for CCHS and is vital in the strength program at CCHS. Coach Starr begins his first year teaching at Centre Middle School as the ISS Cordinator. He is entering his 7th year coaching at CCHS. He is a graduate of CCHS and is a graduate of JSU this year.

Blake Revette
Blake and wife Kaitlyn have served the Warriors over the last 5 seasons. Blake serves as our head trainer and has been a huge part in keeping our players on the field. Kaitlyn a CCHS graduate has also been key in rehabing our Warriors year around to get the guys back on the field.

Brent Hill
Brent Hill has been the Centre QB Club President for the last 3 Years and also works in the Cherokee County School System. They have two sons Case and Evan that our curently seniors at CCHS.
